The PBYF executive team is made up of fourteen individuals across the province. Our youth organization has been active since 1935. The purpose of the organization is to unite all young people in the African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia, between the ages of 13 to 30 inclusive, under a common purpose of encouraging a personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and a meaningful understanding of the Christian Life.
Our focus is set on providing opportunities for youth to become dedicated and committed to God, His word, and His work here on Earth. We outreach to all communities in and around our districts. We have active Baptist Youth Fellowship (BYF) groups that meet regularly, hold worship services, volunteer at community service programs, and participate annually in the Operation Christmas Child: Samaritans Purse campaign through the Billy Graham Crusades.
We are an active organization under the African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia. Our association is 162 years old and is made up of 19 churches.
It is our intent to spread God’s word not only here in Nova Scotia, but across this continent with God’s aide. Our goal is to sow a seed for the Lord, win souls for Christ, build lasting friendships, bring closer the people of God, and to have our territory enlarged.
